Our Analytics Program Solutions team is looking for an associateto help drive the cross-platform, multi-year initiative to develop sustainable investment analytics that are potentially as robust as 'traditional' investing analytics. This includes:
integrating third-party and BLK proprietary ESG data into Aladdin® investment functionalities across the platform
developing innovative ways to understand the risks and opportunities of climate change, and transitioning to a sustainability-focused policy and regulatory environment
ESG integration is at an inflection point; asset owners and asset managers have got to a point where they've discovered ESG, they have tools to consume the headline E, S and G scores and incorporate into their investment processes, but now they want to drill deeper. It's clear that technology will be key in keeping up with the demand and data; there is a meaningful role for analytics in helping investors to identify the pertinent information for their investment or risk management use case, and scalable tools/models to apply this information.
Portfolio Analytics within BlackRock Solutions builds and delivers Aladdin's® analytical capabilities to help the firm and our clients understand and manage their investments and risk. The team seeks an Associate with a strong knowledge of financial markets, deep understanding of investment processes spanning different asset classes as well as proven experience leveraging technology to achieve data and analytic solutions.
