Manage data quality control and certification projects associated with customer facing data, using internal systems.
Projects include but are not limited to integrating data quality best practices into the business processes (including but not limited to process controls) and product functionality(including but not limited to certifying data for intended use cases).
Globally coordinate and communicate recommended product data strategies and obtain buy-in from senior management and key internal stakeholders.
Act SME for the product development lifecyle processes related to data quality to ensure that deliverables for requirements and deployment are delivered accurately.
Act as the key process expert who understands the data quality issues and requirements for data, and BvD's business processes. With this knowledge and leveraging their data experience, they will guide the product and technical community in their participation in designing a data quality strategy for customer facing products and the related applications.
Work closely with Software Engineers and product strategy teams to execute the strategy utilizing controls and certifications where possible and building in controls and certification enhancements to prevent users from tainting controlled or certified data.
Bachelor's Degree, with related information systems experience a plus
Familiarity with data management
Exposure to data quality procedures
Experience in project management and/or software development
Experience with implementing customer facing products a plus
Experience with structured query language (SQL) a plus.
Data Quality & Data Enrichment tool experience a plus
Strong quantitative and analytic skills (including intermediate knowledge of Excel and Access and relational database queries).
Strong verbal and written skills, as well as high level of confidence interacting with business
Strong time management skills, ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.
