Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
The Department of Computer Science in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Iowa State University is seeking applicants for a Postdoctoral Research Associate. This position is expected to be filled as early as Fall 2020. The candidate will be responsible for conducting theoretical research in broadly defined areas of machine learning, stochastic networks control/optimization, cloud computing, and big data analytics, with applications spanning Internet-of-Things, Cyber-Physical Systems, and 5G wireless networks.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Â PhD obtained prior to appointment date. Â
Â Strong analytical skills and mathematical training.
PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Operations Research, or Applied Math.
