Posting Number: S03023P Department: Materials Science and Engineering Salary Range: Commensurate with experience Pay Basis: Monthly Position Status: Regular full-time Location: Richardson Job Description: A postdoctoral research associate with background in materials science, surface science, chemistry electrical engineering, or related field. Position will focus on in-situ surface and interface characterization using ultrahigh vacuum apparatus and device fabrication/characterization to enable correlation studies. Extensive technical work, such as equipment maintenance and repair, as well as managing laboratory/personnel safety operations, should be expected. The postdoc will interface with graduate and undergraduate students, as well as funding program sponsors from both industry and government sponsored research. The postdoc will also be responsible for high-level technical publication and proposal writing, networking with industry partners and interactions with international collaborators. Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D in a related field.
