As a member of the Platform Services Team, the Application Systems Engineer (ASE) will provide business critical onshore support to minimize impact, coordinating with Team Members including domestic FTEs, contractors, offshore Team Members, and Statement of Work Team Members for continuity and ongoing support. The Team Member will act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, Wells Fargo Business logic, tools, architectural patterns, and existing designs to support and maintain applications and capabilities. The Team Member may provide oversight to less experienced staff locally and in remote locations. This role provides functional and technical application support, disaster recovery, Technology Compliance Program adherence, application monitoring, and automation. Responsibilities include facilitation and representation of EACO activities for associated applications and the coordination /management /communication of findings related to Production Investigation activities. The Team Member may be accountable for responding to alarms and inquiries off hours, coordinating with offshore team members, interface partners, Business partners, management, and others as necessary and appropriate.
5+ years of software engineering experience
3+ years of .net experience
3+ years of application production support experience
3 + years of experience writing relational database queries for stored procedures, query optimization and performance tuning
An industry-standard technology certification
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of data query language or report writing tool(s)
3+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
2 + years of experience with front end frameworks such as Bootstrap
3+ years of XML (Extensible Markup Language) experience
Knowledge and understanding of brokerage industry: products, services, operational policies, and procedures
Knowledge and understanding of Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and disaster recovery procedures/solutions

LifeCycle Manager for Service Domain details
Splunk for application performance and error logging and tracking
TheadFix and Fortify Security Scanning
Exposure to Business Process Management (BPM) tools and integration

Exceptional problem solving skills and ability to mentor others
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Minimum of 2 years Quality Center/ALM experience
2+ years of AngularJS experience
Experience in Eclipse, Java, Cloud Foundry other cloud platforms like Azure/PCF/AWS; Cloud Certification preferred
Experience in using Fortify tools to identify and address security vulnerabilities (i.e., SQL and/or XML Injection, Cross-Site scripting, Click Jacking)
3+ years of experience in unit testing frameworks: NUnit, Jasmine/Karma
