The sales engineer is responsible for meeting sales targets in the United States. This process includes: identifying customers who benefit from APRE”s products, demonstrating äPRE products to customers and clearly communicating how buying from APRE will make the customer more successful.. This includes understanding the customer’s requirements, measuring parts as an applications engineer at APRE and at the cusotmer site, visiting customers across the USA making presentations, forming relationships and doing demonstrations, developing proposals and quotations, and closing sales orders.
Develops annual/quarterly sales plan in support of organization strategy and objectives.
Recommends sales tactics to meet sales goals and implements them.
Technical competence operating APRE products and able to explain them.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Strategic and Tactical Thinking
Technical Capability - a plus is interferometer operation experience
Must be profession in conduct, communication, actions, and dress
A person with an optics education or experience is desired.
Additional Salary Information: Commissions will also be included based on sales performance.
