The Cyberphysical Systems Laboratory (CPSLab) at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) is inviting applications for a Post-Doctoral Associate to join the research group of Professor Nikolaos Freris.
The focus of the Cyberphysical Systems Laboratory (CPSLab) is to conduct interdisciplinary research across a broad range of topics and applications pertaining to cyberphysical systems such as: a) distributed algorithms for estimation, optimization and control, b) big data: data mining/machine learning, c) wireless sensor networks, d) system theory: control & optimization, e) signal processing: sparse sampling and online algorithms, as well as applications in transportation, robotics, cybersecurity, networking, and biomedical modeling. Successful applicants must hold, or be close to completing, a Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field, with significant research experience in at least one of the aforementioned focal areas of CPSLab. A proven publication record, solid mathematical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams are essential.
