To strengthen our North American sales team, we are looking for a US West Coast based
Technical Key Account Manager (m / f)
You identify, win and maintain key accounts, especially in our growth markets of laser-based medical technology and laser material processing.
You increase Lumics’ market share in the US and meet defined targets for revenue and profitability.
You recognize new customer needs and market trends and develop suitable sales strategies for them.
You provide in-depth technical pre- and post-sales support to customers.
You develop customer-specific offers, coordinate framework agreements and are responsible for handling communication with customers from the inquiry to the order confirmation.
In cooperation with other departments (R & D, production, order processing) you ensure optimum solutions and high customer satisfaction.
You represent the company during visits at customer sites and also at trade fairs and events in the US and occasionally abroad.

You will report to the Vice President Sales & Marketing.
You have a technical or scientific university degree or alternatively a Bachelor or Master degree in a Photonics related field (optoelectronics, laser technology or similar degree programs).
You can demonstrate several years of successful B2B sales experience with lasers, optomechanical systems or similar products in the Photonics industry
You are characterized by your team spirit, willingness to take initiative and eagerness to achieve outstanding results.
You have excellent command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point) and CRM programs as well as other communication tools.
You are a native English speaker or have an equivalent level of command. Additional language skills (e.g. German) would be a plus.
Due to the nature of the involved application fields, US Citizen or Permanent Resident may be required.
Willingness to travel within the scope of the tasks is mandatory (40-50% depending on season).
