AMF is currently recruiting Research Scientists to join our excellent multidisciplinary team from FAB – Photonics in Singapore.
We are looking for individuals who have experienced in:
Integrated optical circuit design and characterization
Designing and testing of silicon photonic devices
Design/Optimize integrated optics circuit such as MUX/DeMUX, MOD, PD in silicon photonics platform according to industry standard such as IEEE, ITU.
Independently carry out test to determine device design and performance.
Performs other duties as assigned. Duties will vary according to the project progress and/or the specific goals of the company
Collaborate with project team members to ensure device meets specification and verify device's performance
Test result documentation and performance analysis
Masters/Ph.D in Integrated Optics or Electrical/Electronics
Hands-on experience in silicon photonics, especially for design of transceiver related circuits
Hands-on experience in optical simulation with software like Lumerical/Rsoft, electrical simulation with software like Ansys/Synopsys/Silvaco and layout drawing
Strong self-motivation and interest on silicon photonics
Strong oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Problem analysis and problem solving skill
Preferred experience in Photonics Integrated Circuit, Optical Integrated Circuit
Experience in fabrication of silicon photonics is a bonus point
