AlphaHKU is a multidisciplinary research group with the major focus on developing new photonic tools which help solve a myriad of critical problems in biomedicine life science and basic physics. One key vision is to exploit a new generation of high-data-volume measurement and analytical strategies applied in basic science and biomedicine such as high-throughput and high-content single cell analysis, with close collaboration with biomedical researchers as well as medical practitioners in hospitals.

* Relevant academic education from a university or academic institution.
* PhD degree in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering or similar.
* Candidates with demonstrated experience in: instrumentation of advanced optical microscopy, microfluidics, or/and big data analytics relevant to bioimaging will be preferred.
