Our lab focuses on the development of novel imaging, microscopy and spectroscopy instrumentation for biomedical applications. The candidate may be involved in various stages of the translational spectrum, from the design, development and optimization of optical setups to the building of instruments to be used in biological research and/or clinical trials. Examples of advanced optical modalities we worked on can be found at Nature photonics 2 39 (2008); Nature Methods 12, 1132 (2015), Nat. Cell Bio 19 864 (2017).
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in optical engineering, electronics, data acquisition hardware, and software programming (Matlab, Labview, Python).
