In order to keep the growth dynamic, to better cover the North America territory and to promote new products PHASICS Corporation is looking to hire a technical sales engineer. In direct relation with the US sales manager and with the multidisciplinary technical team based is France your role will be:
Establishment of new accounts by identifying and prospecting of potential customers and providing adapted technical solutions to answer their needs and requirements.
Follow-up of and maintain of relations with existing accounts.
Planification and organization of sales calls, customers/prospects visit and products demonstrations.
Attending and help organizing the participation to trade show, scientific conference and events.
Reporting and maintaining information of client’s information in the CRM.
Identifying market opportunities by providing feedback to the management about product improvement and new markets exploration and products developments.
Traveling around 50% of the time in North America and occasionally in France.
Have effective communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
Be determinate to grow revenues and market shares.
Have Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to learn quickly.
Be organized and able to tackle multiple actions at a time.
Have a Master’s degree or a PhD in Optics/Photonics domains.
Proficiency with MS Office and CRM software.
Be familiar with the sales process of high technology scientific instrumentation.
Experience in the sales of scientific instrumentation is a plus but junior candidate will be considerate.
