Corporate research lab for the U.S. Army, part of the Army Materiel Command. We are located in the White Oak Research Center, just outside the Capitol Beltway, entrance at 2800 Powder Mill Rd.
The Army Research Laboratory Electro-optics and Photonics Division has two openings for postdoctoral research assistants.

One opening is in the area of enabling technology for high power fiber lasers. Research topics include stimulated Brillouin scattering, coherent beam combining, modal instability, and modeling. Send applications to

Current U.S. citizenship required. Permanent residency not sufficient. Applicants should have a degree in a field such as Physics, Optics, or Electrical Engineering.
