The Applied Research Center of Old Dominion University has an immediate opening for a Postdoctoral Fellow to work in the area of ultrafast electron diffraction.
1. Design and conduct experiments on ultrafast electron diffraction
2. Analyze data and interpret results
3. Write reports and manuscripts
4. Train graduate students on femtosecond laser operation

A Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry, Physics, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required. Experience in operating and maintaining amplified femtosecond lasers is required.
